I am so happy to hear that Ukee is recovering and will back to join us in the news.
I wondered for a long time just where in the world is Ukee Washington. I watch his time slots just to hear his reporting of the news. (I like Pat S. as well). It was only yesterday that I heard him on WDAS and found out that he is in recovery. He has been an inspiration to me through his broadcast, and I wish him a speedy recovery and best wishes always….Joyce M.

I agree with everyone else- the mornings just are not the same without that handsome man. The rest of the team are always good and professional but there is
just something about Ukee that steals everyone’s heart when you watch him. He is
always kind and professional and makes the mornings a little easier to get going ,
I’m sure the rest of the staff misses him also so here’s hoping that you soon return
to the “FAMILY” who loves and misses you.

God! Where is Ukee? The only reason I watch the news at 5 in the morning is because of that handsome ,well dressed man.If he is not going to be on the news anymore, send him over to my house. He can read the dictionary to me, believe me, I will listen. .I WANT MY UKEE!!!!!

I too am a huge Ukee Washington fan. I hope it is back soon. Which leads me to the question, where is Angelo Catalbi? Their banter makes following sports enjoyable even though I am not a big sports person.

I thought Ukee was on vacation. Then I realized, this is some long vacation. I watch Ukee like part of my morning. Wake up…click tv… see Ukee…pour coffee. It was taking to long for him to come back. I just knew CBS didn’t lose their mind! I finally looked him up! Ukee is from West, Bob is from Brideburg, they are us. They say the street names right, laugh at the same things,have the same memories. I really am glad he is going to be alright. Hey UkeeTake Care of yourself..Feel Better.

I need Ukee to come back. Morning TV is not the same without him. I watch him on channel 3 and then switch to 57 at 7. JUST TO WATCH UKEE BEFORE WORK. I REALLY MISS HIM! I am complaining so much, my husband i jealous.
