We have a 95 lbs rodesian ridgeback mix that has had a huffing cough that sometimes ends in her vomiting. This has been occuring intermittently for the past 3 months but has recently increased in frequency. Took her to our vet and she was diagnosed with chronic bronchitis and placed on prednisone and pepcid for the next 2 weeks. Is there anything we can do to keep her from getting a flare up of this. Can she make an of her dog friends sick ? Thanks To you and Dr. Geffen.
