I\’m glad you are taking the responsibility of boarding your dog seriously. The best thing to do is talk to other animal owners, to vets, and visit various places. I have a pet sitter stay at my house, which is an option too. You want a place that will accommodate your dogs as closely to their usual living arrangements as possible. Air conditioning, exercise, meals they are accustomed to, attention. Best Friends Pet Resort has a number of places and probably sophisticated care. I haven\’t used them, but they might be worth checking out. You might also board your dog for a night just to see…or maybe let him spend an afternoon there. There are also pet camps in the Lehigh Valley for dogs that want to be more adventurous. I think it is by asking and visiting that you will get the best outcome. If you hear of a great place, let us know on facebook Carol Erickson\’s Pet Page (or just reemail me at email@example.com).
