    1. What can be done to make changes Erie Ave SPCA. I had adopted several animals over the years and this weekend I was stunned and very upset in their policies and procedures that lead to painful mistakes. After two hours Sunday choosing a pet I was told at the end when signing contract the cost. The cost was not anywhere on the animals notes or on cage. Price 275.00 instead of 75.00 Isn't this called,"entrapment"? Too make matters worse Tuesday Nove 8 2011 I went to get her after her up and they had put the incorrect ID number in computer giving me the wrong dog! The dog I had for me was a pity to see, they spayed her with urine all over her body. and feces on her head and ears. I was so upset I told then to put her back and I walked outside trying to pull myself together. They were ready to give me a refund, not the point, I wanted the dog I had paid for and planned to have. The young guy who took the ID did so with the scan that has me confused. However, I decided to take the dog just to get her the hell our of that disorganized greedy disgusting place. I will never go back there and to pay 275. plus 5 for a piece of rope they call a leash( she couldn't walk but still needed a leash), for a urine covered chihuahua mix. In addition, I can't give her a full bath they told me until 1 week. I did all I could with soap and wash cloth to get the urine and smell off her, but so far no.

    5. I have a 19 year old cat. She is having trouble walking, sometimes staggers, only gets up to eat or to the bathroom. Has stopped using litter box, now have to put down puppy pads. Also, her breathing has changed. I know if I take her to the vet, they will tell me to put her to sleep, but I can't bring myself to do that. Do you have any idea what could be wrong with her?

    6. Any advice, tips before I adopt a 2-yr old deaf Bull terrier mix? She's well-socialized, but I don't know if she knows signs yet. ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x7RkB1exs38&feature=youtu.be ) Some handlers say deaf dogs do well with a hearing dog in the house, to take cues from, for behavior and commands. Rescuer says this dog has a strong owner allegience, so the other dog should be brought home first. Your opinion on vibration collars for training??

    9. I recently read some disturbing info on flea and tick meds in an artical on 50 things your vet won't tell you. One of the 50 was how dangerous they are and the horrible side effects that can occure. I have noticed that the weight table they use are very broad. 16-30 lbs is where my Spanky falls but he is only 17 lbs.... so he would be over dosed according to box. Should this be used as preventative or as needed and what are the safest brands to use? Thanks
