Do The Eagles Need A Complete Rebuild In 2013, Or Just A Re-Tool?

I think that if they re-tool, they can get back into the playoffs in 2013.

Injuries have destroyed this team, but you get those offensive linemen back next year, we'll probably see a more efficient offense. They need help at safety and a tall, go-to wide receiver, and they can find that in free agency.

The core is there, they just need to add and subtract a few pieces.

Say what you want about certain players, but this team has talent.

The Eagles have to rebuild internally, and that starts with the coaching. They need a new system to get them back into form.

When healthy and well coached, this team could be a contender.

If you are changing your head coach (therefore most of your coaching staff) and your starting quarterback from the beginning of the season, it has to be described as a rebuilding. It should be.

The turnover of players will be well above the league average which would follow in-line with a rebuilding.

The only major question is Howie Roseman's status. If he is still in place with no one between he and Jeff Lurie on the Eagles flow chart than it wouldn't be a "complete" rebuild. If a major "football executive" is brought in above or in replacement of Roseman, it would be about as complete a rebuilding as you are going to find!
