I think the Eagles are what their record indicates - a little bit above average team.

Things that you can believe will get better: More big plays on both sides of the ball, special teams (have to, right?), o-line as they gel and turnovers.

Things that I think are what they are: quarterbacking, time management, inconsistent commitment to ground game.

Add it all up and I think you have a team that is right where it should be and probably headed for 9-7.

The Eagles are not better or worse than 3-2 because the record is the "Bottom Line," the measure of how good or bad a team is.

"We're better than our record" is probably the single most annoying cliche used by pro athletes! The Eagles though are LUCKY to have a winning record 5 games into the season given that they have turned the ball over 14 times (2nd most in NFL) and scored just 80 points (3rd fewest in the NFL).

To use another cliche, yes "a win is a win" but wins like the three the Eagles have will NOT keep coming. You need to see some games that they control from start to finish.
