Memorial Plaque Unveiled For Pa. Trooper Killed on Duty, Renewing Family’s Ire

The trooper’s brother says his family is still upset because they feel more serious charges should have been brought against the state police firearms instructor who accidentally shot him.

Ursinus College Names New President

Brock Blomberg will become the seventeenth president in Ursinus College’s 146-year history, following the sudden death last fall of the Montgomery County liberal arts college’s previous leader.

Abington H.S. Chess Team Wins 3 National Titles

The Abington High School chess team beat out 40 teams from around the country to win a national championship at this year’s US Chess Federation’s national tournament. Two students won individual titles.

Montgomery County Man Pleads Guilty To Murdering Father, Dumping Body In Poconos

David St. Onge, Senior pleaded guilty to third degree murder, abuse of a corpse and fraud charges, and was sentenced to 15-35 years in state prison.
