Chester County Officials: Tanker Truck Carrying 5,000 Gallons Of Gasoline Involved In Accident
CHESTER COUNTY, Pa. (CBS) - A tanker truck carrying 5,000 gallons of gasoline spilled a small amount following a single-vehicle accident in Chester County on Tuesday.
It happened at the intersection of West Valley Road and Pugh Road in the Wayne section of Tredyffrin Township, just before noon.
3 Hospitalized After Tanker Accident In New Castle County
Authorities say the driver attempted to turn the tanker around at the intersection when the load shifted, causing a partial overturning of the trailer containing the fuel.
Officials say traffic is temporarily being diverted but it cleared before rush hour.
No injuries were reported.
