Sugar Cravings May Help Lower Body Fat, Say Researchers

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - There's new research about our bodies and sugar cravings.

It turns out that the gene that makes us want more sweets can also help lower body fat.

That's according to British researchers who say the gene tends to make people eat less fat.

But it can also redistribute fat to the upper body, causing high blood pressure.
