Police Searching For Suspect After 21-Year-Old Man Stabbed To Death In Chinatown

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police are searching for a suspect after a man was stabbed to death in the Chinatown section of Philadelphia early Monday morning.

Police say 21-year-old Tirus Kitchen was found stabbed in the chest twice shortly after 5:30 a.m. on the 1000 block of Appletree Street.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are searching for suspect 23-year-old Tong Wu.

Wu is between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-11 and weighs around 200 to 230 pounds.

Police say Wu is armed and dangerous. They say he is known to frequent the areas of Chinatown and the Reading Terminal Market.
