Top Video Gamers Competing For Snider Hockey Cup Championship
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Top video gamers from across North America are in Philadelphia as four finalists are competing for the Snider Hockey Cup Championship on Friday evening.
The tournament is played on the EA Sports NHL 18 video game.
Champions will be crowned for both Xbox and PlayStation.
They are competing for nearly $20,000 in cash and prizes.
Proceeds from the tournament benefit the Ed Snider Youth Hockey Foundation.
