Police: Boy Accidentally Stabs 5-Year-Old Brother While Playing With Knife

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A 5-year-old boy was hospitalized after police say he was accidentally stabbed by his 10–year-old brother.

It happened around 8:30 p.m. on the 1200 block of S. Ruby Street.

Police say the boy was stabbed once in the chest area when his older brother was playing with a carving knife.

The child was transported to an area hospital and is currently listed in stable condition.
