Police: 83-Year-Old Woman Struck And Killed By Vehicle In South Philly
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Police say an 83-year-old woman was struck and killed by a vehicle on Friday morning in South Philadelphia.
The accident happened at 6:22 a.m. near the intersection of 24th Street and Washington Avenue.
According to police, a white Chevy Cruze traveling eastbound on Washington Avenue hit the 83-year-old woman, while she was crossing the street. Two vehicles remained at the scene.
No charges will be filed, police say.
