Police Officer Rescues Dog From Partially-Frozen Pond In New Jersey

HOPEWELL TOWNSHIP, N.J. (CBS) — Hopewell Township police and emergency personnel helped pull a struggling dog out of a partially-frozen pond in New Jersey.

The officer inched towards the edge of the pond to make the daring rescue on Wednesday morning.

The officer managed to lift the dog out by her collar, to the relief of everyone involved in the rescue, including the dog's owner.
