WALLINGFORD, Pa. (AP) — An elementary school principal in Delaware County has stepped down following what the superintendent called “inappropriate action.”

In a letter to parents on Tuesday, the superintendent said Wallington Elementary School Principal Joshua Peterkin’s action “in no way endangered or involved children. The superintendent did not elaborate.
