Police: Student In Custody For Prompting Lockdown At High School Over Gun Photo On Social Media

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — A student is in custody for prompting a lockdown at George Washington High School in Northeast Philadelphia.

Police say it stemmed from an image of that male student holding two guns that circulated on social media.

Police say a female student was receiving death threats from the suspect.

He was located at his home and taken into custody.

The lockdown was lifted around 3 p.m.
