Police: Driver With 6-Month-Old Baby Crashes Into Building Following Two-State Pursuit  

PENNSVILLE, N.J. (CBS) - A driver is under arrest after a police pursuit, authorities say, spanned two states.

Police say 28-year-old Jacquinda Jones was fleeing from officers after they attempted to stop her for careless driving at North Hook Road and Route 49 in Pennsville, around 9:30 a.m. Thursday.

She allegedly fled into Delaware and then back into Pennsville, before crashing into a building on Route 49 and Oliver Avenue.

Police say a 6-month-old baby and 18-year old passenger were in the car. No one was hurt.

Jones was charged with careless driving, reckless driving, endangering the welfare of a child, eluding and speeding.
