Video Captures Suspect Attacking Elderly Man With Backpack
LOS ANGELES (CBS) -- Police in Los Angeles are searching for a man who was caught on video assaulting an elderly man with a backpack.
It happened on Oct. 20 around 8 a.m. in the 800 block of North La Brea Avenue.
Police say the suspect approached the elderly man from behind and struck him in the face with a backpack without any provocation.
The man fell to the ground and sustained serious injuries in the attack.
