Man Rescued After Being Trapped Inside Garbage Truck For 2 Hours
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Rescue crews have freed a man from a garbage truck after being trapped inside for nearly two hours, Monday morning.
It happened in the 300 block of E. Erie Avenue in Juniata Park, around 5:30 a.m.
Officials tell Eyewitness News the 33-year-old man was sleeping inside a dumpster when he was lifted into the trash truck. He was stuck for two hours before crews were able to free him.
The man was taken to Temple Hospital with lower abdominal, hip and leg injuries. He is in critical condition.
