Police: 1 Dead, 2 Injured After Triple Shooting In Southwest Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — One person has died following a triple shooting in Southwest Philadelphia on Wednesday night.

It happened around 6:30 p.m. in the 2100 block of South 66th Street.

Authorities say officers found three victims suffering from gunshot wounds and all three were transported to Presbyterian Hospital.

Police say a 27-year-old man was pronounced dead at 6:51 p.m. after suffering multiple gunshot wounds. A 26-year-old man remains in critical condition suffering multiple gunshot wounds as well and a 31-year-old woman is listed in stable condition after being shot twice in the right leg, according to police.

The investigation into the fatal shooting is ongoing, as police are working to determine what happened.

No weapons have been recovered and no arrest has been made.
