Philly School To Reopen After Closing Due To Boiler System Issue
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - An elementary school in Philadelphia's Grays Ferry neighborhood is closed Thursday after having issues with the school's boiler system.
School officials at Universal Alcorn Charter Elementary School said the system faced some needed repairs that were unforeseen.
Due to the cold temperatures, officials said they were forced to cancel classes while repairs were made.
The boiler system was repaired by Thursday afternoon.
The school will reopen on Monday.
