PMA Craft Show Splash Copy 2017
The 41st Annual Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show is a show and sale of contemporary craft and design featuring 195 of the best artists from across the United States. In addition, there will be 25 Guest Artists from Korea thanks to the support of Soluna Living, a new global enterprise that celebrates the best in Asian craftsmanship. All work is for sale. The show is the single largest fundraiser for the Philadelphia Museum of Art. From November 9-12 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, attendees can meet, learn and purchase unique works of art from artists who are represented in prominent museum and private collections nationwide. The opening night gala will take place on November 8, from 4 to 9 p.m., and offers collectors the opportunity to get a first look at the Show while enjoying a cocktail buffet.
Proceeds from the Craft Show benefit the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Over the last 40 years, the Show has contributed more than $12 million to the museum, used to purchase works of art and craft for the permanent collections, support education programs, and projects and special exhibitions.
