Police: Teen Killed, 2 Others Injured After Shooting In Chester

CHESTER, Pa. (CBS) – A teenager is killed and two others are injured after a gunfire rang out in Delaware County on Monday.

It happened around 3 p.m. in the 1300 block of West 7th Street.

Police say three people, including a 15-year-old, 16-year-old and an 18-year-old were walking home when the gunman opened fire from a vehicle. Two of the victims attended the Chester Upland School District.

Authorities tell CBS3 that Ronald Lundy, 15, was killed in the shooting. The two other teenagers shot suffered non-life threatening injuries.

"I'm outraged by it. It hits home," said Carl Everettm a minister at Grace United Methodist Church. "We as a people need to come together and address some of the issues that are facing us and not look for people to solve our problems."

No suspects are in custody at this time.

A vehicle police believe to be involved in the deadly shooting has been recovered.
