Harvey Dogs Get New Start With Philly Prison Job
PHILADELPHIA (CBS)--Two dogs saved from floodwaters caused by Hurricane Harvey are getting a new start in the Philadelphia area.
Cosmo and Aster arrived here from Texas.
The pups will be paired with Philadelphia prison inmates at the alternative and special detention facility on Street Road.
This is a fresh start for the dogs. They will be trained by inmates and the "New Leash On Life" organization.
The organization also brought up 40 other rescued dogs and cats from the flood-ravaged state.
