According to Ian Rapoport, Sturgis is expected to "miss several weeks" with a quad strain.

Sturgis made all three of his field goal attempts on Sunday, but did miss an extra point.

The Eagles will reportedly workout free agent 35-year-old veteran kicker Mike Nugent and potentially Bengals practice squad kicker Jake Elliott.

Sturgis, 28, signed with the Eagles during the 2015 season. In 2015, he was 18 of 22 in 13 games. In 2016, Sturgis made 35 of 41 field goals and 30 of 31 extra points.
