Man Shot In Head In West Philly, Strikes Off-Duty Police Car On Way To Hospital
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A 51-year-old man is in critical condition after he is shot in West Philadelphia overnight.
Police say the victim was shot in the head on the 1400 block of Allison street in Carroll Park.

He then tried to drive himself to the hospital. On the way, he hit an off-duty officer's car at the intersection of 54th and Walnut Streets.
The officer is also in stable condition.
No word yet on a motive.
