Report: Elton Brand To Become GM Of Delaware 87ers
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Philadelphia 76ers are planning to hire Elton Brand as the general manager of the G-League Delaware 87ers, according to The Vertical's Shams Charania.
Brand, 38, spent time over the past year as a player development consultant for the 76ers.
Brand, a two-time NBA all-star, spent time as a player with the Sixers from 2008-2012 and then again in 2016. He was the first overall pick of the Chicago Bulls in 1999 out of Duke University.
