Police: One Dead After Motorcycle Collision In Cherry Hill

CHERRY HILL, N.J. (CBS) — Police say a person is dead following a multi-vehicle wreck Thursday evening in Cherry Hill.

Police Investigating Fatal Crash Involving Montgomery County Sheriff's Deputy

According to police, just before 9 p.m. three motorcycles were traveling together northbound on North Kings Highway when one of them collided with a vehicle near Miami Avenue.

The motorcycle deflected off the Lexus and struck one of the other motorcyclist, causing a second rider to lose control and crash his motorcycle as well.

One of the motorcyclist was killed and another was injured. The third motorcyclist was not injured.

North Kings Highway was closed for several hours during the investigation.

The drivers of the motorcycles were reportedly traveling on Route 73, Route 295 and Route 70 prior to the crash. Cherry Hill Police ask that anyone who may have seen any of these vehicles or who witnessed the crash to please contact the Traffic Safety Unit at (856) 488-7820.
