DRPA Officer Injured Following Crash On Ben Franklin Bridge
PHILADELPHIA (CBS)—Multiple people were injured, including a Delaware River Port Authority officer, following an accident on the Ben Franklin Bridge on Tuesday.
It happened around 3:30 p.m. when the DRPA officer was assisting a disabled vehicle.
That's when another vehicle rear ended the DRPA officer's vehicle, authorities say.
The severity of those injured are unknown at this time.
Eastbound lanes on the bridge were briefly shut down while police conducted their investigation.
