East Kensington Shop Makes Pizza-Flavored Ice Cream

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — For those who may have a hankering for pizza and ice cream this summer, there’s a place bringing together the best of both worlds.

“You can get vanilla, chocolate, wherever you want,” Kirsten Becker, Little Baby’s manager said. “We like to switch it up. We’re weird. We like to do weird things on the menu.”

That’s right, no longer does a person have to decide between a cheesy slice or that creamy ice because Little Baby’s pizza ice cream is made with tomato paste, oregano, salt, basil and garlic.

“We opened up this shop about five or six years ago and we just thought, ‘We’re right next to a pizza shop–why not make a pizza ice cream?'” Becker said, explaining the inspiration behind the creation.
