Double Shooting Leaves 2 Dead In East Mount Airy

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- In this usually quiet East Mt. airy community police are investigating an execution style double homicide.

"Both have been shot One time in the back of the head," said Captain James Clark. "Right now this is very much a whodunit."

Reward Out For Suspect Who Punched Man With Cerebral Palsy

Police say all they know right now is that the victims are a man and a woman both were in their early 20s.

Their bodies were discovered just before five in the afternoon Sunday along the 1000 block of east Sydney street inside this dark colored parked car.

"I can tell you that it does appear, the shooting was inside the car," Clark said. "It appears the shooter was in the backseat. She was in the passenger seat he was in the driver seat."

The woman who is still to shaken to show her face or use her name says she is the one who found the bodies during a walk to her daughters house.

"I knocked on the window they didn't respond, I knocked again they didn't respond," she said. "Then I called 911."

As she tries to now forget what she saw here one particular detail, about the man found shot here. Just keeps sticking out in her mind.
