New Jersey Transit Train Door Stays Open For 8 Stops

TRENTON (CBS) — New Jersey Transit is investigating what caused a door to stay open for at least eight stops before the train was pulled out of service.

It happened Tuesday night on the way from New York City to Trenton.

The car was filled with passengers as some stood just feet from the open door.

New Jersey Transit says its trains are not supposed to move when a door is open.
