Radko Gudas Punches Claude Giroux

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Radko Gudas just punched Claude Giroux in the head. Seriously.

The International Ice Hockey World Championships began on Friday and Gudas’ Czech Republic team faced off against Giroux’s Canada squad. And this happened, just nine minutes and 51 seconds into the first period.

Giroux, 29, and Gudas, 26, are of course teammates back in the U.S. with the Flyers.

Giroux is the captain for Canada and his other teammate Jake Voracek is the Czech captain.
