Charlie Murphy Dies At Age 57 After Battle With Leukemia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Comedian Charlie Murphy has passed away at age 57 after a battle with leukemia, his manager confirms. 

His manager says Murphy had been battling leukemia and was undergoing chemotherapy.

He reportedly died Wednesday morning at a New York City hospital.

He was the older brother of actor and comedian Eddie Murphy.
