Moore Scores 59 Seconds Into OT, Devils Beat Flyers 1-0

NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — John Moore scored 59 seconds into overtime and New Jersey Devils snapped a six-game losing streak with a 1-0 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers on Tuesday night.

Keith Kinkaid made 35 saves in posting his first shutout of the season and helping the Devils win for only the third time in 21 games (3-14-4).

Taylor Hall set up Moore's fourth-overtime game winner with a cross-ice pass on a 2-1 break with the defenseman beating Steve Mason with a shot from low in the right circle to end a game between two teams ending their seasons this week.

Mason finished with 26 saves for the Flyers, who lost their second straight.

The game was the Flyers first since being eliminated from playoff contention on Sunday, and there was no letdown in their final road game.
