Report: Rockies Sign Domonic Brown To Minor-League Deal
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Domonic Brown is getting another chance.
According to Yahoo Sports' Jeff Passan, the Colorado Rockies have signed Brown to a minor-league deal.
Brown, 29, was outrighted from the Phillies' roster on October 19, 2015 after hitting .228 with 5 home runs and 25 RBI in 63 games. Last winter, Brown signed a minor league contract with the Toronto Blue Jays.
Brown was drafted in the 20th round in 2006 by the Phillies and was once considered one of baseball's top prospects.
