Melanoma Rates On the Rise In U.S.

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – More Americans than ever are being diagnosed with melanoma.

Despite warnings to stay out of the sun and tanning beds, cases of the deadly skin cancer have spiked steadily since 2009.

Research estimates more than 76,000 Americans will be diagnosed this year and over 10,000 will die from it.
