Local Pop Warner Football Team Brings Home National Championship... Again
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A local Pop Warner football team proves once again they're the best in the country.
The 12 to 15 year old boys won their consecutive third national championship.
Idris Guyton is the Parents Auxiliary chairman, he said he's proud of the work everybody's put into the program.
"We really really want to tell the city thank you," he said. "Tell everybody who helped us thank you and let you know that these kids are doing good, the coaches are doing good everybody is doing something to raise more successful Philadelphians."
The Raiders won their championship game against the Santa Clara Lions 42-0.
