Plunging Temps Prompt Counties To Issue Code Blue
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Several counties have declared a Code Blue Weather Emergency due to the frigid temperatures that are expected to last through the weekend.

On Friday, Philadelphia announced a Code Blue is in effect until 6 a.m. Monday, December 12.

Montgomery County says they are in a Code Blue until 9 a.m. Monday, December 12.
Montco officials say, "A Code Blue Cold Weather Declaration is made in Montgomery County when winter conditions pose a
threat of serious harm or death to individuals without shelter. A Code Blue is called when the combination of air temperature and wind chill is anticipated to be 20ºF or less."
Camden, New Jersey has declared a Code Blue advisory for Friday 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Saturday, and again Saturday evening from 7:00 p.m.to 7:00 a.m. Sunday.
Camden officials say during these periods of emergency "Code Blue" conditions, individuals can go to the following locations:

555 Atlantic Avenue
Camden County will also be under a Code Blue Advisory through Sunday morning. The Camden County Health Officer issued the Code Blue Advisory effective from 7 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Sunday.
