Police: Lower Makefield Man Admits To Killing His Mother

LOWER MAKEFIELD, Pa. (CBS) -- Lower Makefield Police say a man admitted to killing his mother on Thursday afternoon.

Police say they initially received a report of a 30-year-old man telling a passing motorist on the 200 block of Taylorsville Road around 3 p.m. that he had killed his mother.

Police say the man was partially clad and appeared to have been in an altercation.

The woman was found dead at 23 Lower Hilltop Road. The cause of the woman's death is unknown at this time.

The man, who is believed to be the victim's son, was taken into police custody.

Lower Makefield Police and Bucks County Detectives are investigating.
