Nordstrom is selling a leather-bound rock, currently out of stock on their website. "First I'd try to figure out what it is," said Curt Fox of Marlton, New Jersey as we showed him a picture of the rock.

"No house is complete without a limestone rock in a pouch," added Marie Fox.

"I would politely say thank you and look for the gift receipt," said Lisa O'Shea of Downingtown.

That return would get you $85 at Nordstrom. "No, get out of the city," said David Jefferson of Southwest Philly.

"Is it made of Himalayan salts or something?" asked Marie Fox.

The Los-Angeles area stone has nearly sold out and the smaller version is no longer in stock online, where it's described as a paperweight, conversation piece, even a work of art?

"To me, it's a scam," said Jefferson.

It wasn't on anyone's wish list we spoke to, which means it could be added to the eighty-one million unwanted gifts given last year, according to an ING international survey. It found one in four people don't want, use or appreciate the gifts they were given.

"I think that's why there's so many returns after Christmas," said Diane Frain of Downingtown.

Curt Fox added, "Garbage men need jobs, too." His wife chimed in, "No, you donate them. We donate them!"
