Kellyanne Conway To Be Grand Marshal At Hammonton Fire Department Christmas Parade

HAMMONTON, N.J. (CBS) -- The woman who helped lead Donald Trump to a White House victory will be the grand marshal for the Hammonton Fire Department Christmas Parade.

Kellyanne Conway, Trump's campaign manager, was a former long-time Hammonton area resident. She attended St. Joseph High School and worked at Indian Brand Blueberry Farms before going to college and law school in Washington, D.C.

"We are thrilled that Kellyanne was able to take the time to come back home and join us for such a special event. We are so proud of the good work she is doing with the President-Elect and look forward to presenting her with a key to the Town of Hammonton," Councilman Mickey Pullia said in a press release.

Pullia, a 30-year member of the fire department, led the effort to coordinate Conway's visit.

Conway will also make brief comments to the crowd.

Conway was the first woman to successfully manage a presidential campaign in American history.

The parade will begin at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10.
