Police: Teen Shot Twice During Potential Robbery In Germantown

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia Police say a teenager is fighting for his life after a shooting that took place in Germantown on Monday night.

Officials say a 17-year-old was shot twice - once in the head and once in the hip - on the 300 block of Apsley Street.

According to authorities, the teenager is believed to have been robbed in Fernhill Park and he then ran to Morris and Apsley Streets after. His wallet and cell phone were stolen, police say.

They add that they are looking for a white van. The teenager was taken to Temple University Hospital for treatment, where he was listed in critical condition.
