Haddon Township To Honor The Life Of Brendan Creato

HADDON Twp., N.J. (CBS) -- An honor will be placed in memory of 3-year-old Brendan Creato in Haddon Township.

Officials announced that a bench and a plaque will be dedicated to his memory on December 4. Trees will also be planted near the spot where Creato's body was found.

"This will be a lasting memorial to young Brendan here in Cooper River Park," said Freeholder Jeffrey Nash. "Visitors to the park can stop at this bench to reflect on this young life."

Creato was discovered in the woods in the early morning hours of October 13, 2015. His father, D.J. Creato is charged with murder and remains behind bars.
