Philly GOP Outraged At Anti-Trump Graffiti

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Joe DeFelice, the Chairman of the Philadelphia GOP, reacted to the revelation that an Assistant City Solicitor participated in spray painting anti-Trump graffiti on a new grocery store in Chestnut Hill, telling Dom Giordano on Talk Radio 1210 WPHT, that the actions of Duncan Lloyd are typical of Democrats in the city.

"It's this elitist attitude that they can get away with doing things and there's not going to be any repercussions. This guy, it's clear, with the ascot and the glass of wine and whatever, this is the new Democratic party. That's what it represents. It's not the working class people. That's why so many working class people defected to Trump. It's this hypocrisy. It's everything. You can call it hate speech if you want."

DeFelice is skeptical whether the Lloyd will lose his job and does not expect Mayor Kenney to force the issue.

"If this guy isn't held accountable for it, and apparently he turned himself in. I only get what I read, so I don't know the ins and outs of this. I don't know whether he turned himself in as an accomplice. At the end of the day, whether he was the one doing the graffiti, which he said he wasn't, he was the one, sitting there, I guess, holding the camera as his buddy did it and they didn't rush to turn themselves in immediately. He only turned himself in when he knew he was caught. At that point, I think the facts are pretty clear. If they're not going to act on it, and I don't expect them to act on it. I don't expect them to act on anything."
