Police: Woman Dead After Vehicle Pursuit Ends In Multi-Car Collision
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A woman has died after an accident that occurred following a police pursuit in West Philadelphia on Wednesday night.
Philadelphia Police say that officers were responding to a report of gunshots near 48th and Westminster around 7:13 p.m. They attempted to stop two men, who officials say fled the area in a gray Nissan.
Authorities say the men were involved in a crash at 52nd and Locust. The collision involved four cars and police say the woman was injured and transported to Presbyterian Hospital.
Officials say two arrests were made and a gun was recovered.
