Homeowner Struck With Guitar After 4 Men Force Their Way Into Cape May Co. Home

LOWER TOWNSHIP, N.J. (CBS)—Authorities have arrested four home invasion suspects in Cape May County.

Officers responded around 12:30 p.m. last week to the 200 block of Arbor Road in Lower Township for a reported robbery and burglary.

Lower Township police say four suspects pushed their way into a home after a resident answered a knock at the door.

"Once inside the home the actors knocked a female to the ground that was holding a newborn infant and physically assaulted a male in the home striking him with a guitar that was located in the residence," police said in a news release.

After the assault the suspects fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The man who lived inside the home suffered minor injuries in the attack.

Four men were arrested in connection to the home invasion:

Marcus Wright, 25 of the Villas, is being charged with burglary, robbery, possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a weapon, endangering the welfare of children, simple assault, theft and criminal mischief & conspiracy.

Edward Arroyo, 26 of Middle Township, is being charged with robbery, burglary, aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a weapon and conspiracy.

Jonathan Fernandez, 26 of Lower Township, is being charged robbery, burglary, aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a weapon and conspiracy.

Nathaniel Richardson, 28 of Middle Township, is being charged with robbery, burglary, aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a weapon, theft and criminal mischief & conspiracy.

All four are being held on $150,000 bail
