Nick Cannon: Planned Parenthood Is 'Modern Day Eugenics'

PHILADELPHIA (CBS/AP) -- Nick Cannon is bashing Planned Parenthood, saying the health care provider takes part in "modern day eugenics."

Cannon slammed Planned Parenthood last week during a radio interview, calling what they do "genocide."

"Think about all the stuff they did with Planned Parenthood and all of that type of stuff," Nick Cannon told "The Breakfast Club." "That type of stuff is to take our community, and forget gentrification, it's real genocide and it's been like that for years. This system is not built for us. This is not our land. I appreciate it, I love it, wouldn't want to live nowhere else, but this wasn't designed for our people."

When asked by Splash News Online about those comments, Cannon didn't back down.

"It's modern day eugenics," Cannon told Splash News. "It's population control."

Cannon recently announced that he is expecting a baby with his ex-girlfriend Brittany Bell.

Cannon is also the father of 5-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe, with ex-wife Mariah Carey.
