Eagles Studs And Duds: Week 12

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Green Bay Packers entered their Week 12 matchup against the Eagles having allowed 33, 31, 47, and 42 points in four straight losses.

On Monday night, they held the Eagles to 13 points en route to a 27-13 dominating win at Lincoln Financial Field.

Duds

3. Nolan Carroll

Carroll had his worst game of the season. He couldn't tackle, committed penalties, and allowed this "how-did-he-not-deflect-this-pass" touchdown to Davante Adams.

2. Bryce Treggs

I don't expect much from Paul Turner, who lacks the physical talent and was playing in his first NFL game, but Treggs runs a 4.44 and can be an asset in the NFL so I hold him to higher standards.

Treggs, playing in his fourth NFL game now, needed to make an impact with Nelson Agholor inactive and Jordan Matthews injuring his ankle in the second quarter. But it never happened. Maybe it was the lack of play design for him, but Treggs caught just one of three targets for 11 yards.

1. Fletcher Cox

Cox was actually the Eagles' second highest graded defender by Pro Football Focus, so I'm not criticizing as much as most are today. However, there's no denying that Cox -- who signed a $100 million contract extension this offseason -- is struggling. For the seventh straight game Cox failed to record a sack and finished with just one combined tackle against a backup Packers lineman.

Cox also committed a personal foul penalty on third down, extending a Packers drive and leading to a touchdown.

Studs

3. Dorial Green-Beckham

DGB stepped up on Monday night, catching six of 10 targets for 82 yards. He was the Eagles' fourth-highest graded offensive player per Pro Football Focus.

2. Carson Wentz

Ryan Mathews out. Lane Johnson out. Big V out. Brandon Brooks out. Nelson Agholor out. Jordan Matthews left the game in the second quarter.

Wentz battled, completing 24 of 36 passes for 254 yards, 1 interception plus 33 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown.

1. Jordan Hicks

Hicks was the Eagles' best defensive player, earning a PFF grade 85.9. Hicks lead the Eagles with eight total tackles, six solo, and one QB hit.
