Roadside Worker Struck By Driver In Pa. While Changing Tire

LANGHORNE, Pa. (CBS)—Police in Middletown are investigating after a roadside assistance worker is struck while changing a driver's tire on Sunday night.

It happened on northbound Route 1 near Fox Court.

Middletown police say the driver struck the worker's vehicle and then struck the worker changing a person's tire.

The victim is in serious condition at St. Mary's Medical Center with multiple broken bones. He is expected to survive.

Drunk driving or speeding are not believed to be the cause.
